Dr. Gurkaranvir Singh Chahal’s passion for animals began early in life, growing up on his family’s farm in India, where he was surrounded by a wide range of animals, including cows, horses, dogs, poultry and water buffaloes. This formative experience instilled in him a profound sense of responsibility for the care and well-being of animals. It was during these early years that Dr. Chahal was first introduced to the profession of veterinary medicine—a field that would become his lifelong calling.

After completing his studies at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary University in Punjab, one of India’s most prestigious veterinary institutions, Dr. Chahal moved to Canada in 2018. He quickly achieved certification, completing the rigorous veterinary examination process required to practice in both Canada and the United States. He successfully passed the Clinical Proficiency Examination at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Tuskegee, Alabama.

Dr. Chahal then settled in British Columbia, where he worked across multiple communities, including Mission, Abbotsford, and Kelowna, before relocating to Winnipeg in 2024. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills, gaining invaluable experience in animal care, and earning the trust and respect of countless pet owners along the way. His commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine has made him a sought-after professional in the field.

Known for his compassionate approach to veterinary care, Dr. Chahal has developed a particular interest in dentistry and surgery, areas where he has demonstrated exceptional expertise. He treats every animal as if they were his own, ensuring that kindness and empathy are at the forefront of his practice. Dr. Chahal is also deeply committed to educating pet owners, helping them navigate difficult decisions with clear guidance, patience, and understanding.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Chahal enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and is an avid golfer. However, his greatest joy comes from spending quality time with his wife and their young daughter, Jind Kaur. With an unwavering commitment to animal welfare and the health of his patients, Dr. Chahal continues to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of pets and their families, always striving to provide the highest standard of care.

Vitalii, a second generation veterinarian, was born and raised in Ukraine. As a young child, Vitalii helped his father often, watching closely all he did. It was his father’s example as a highly respected veterinarian that inspired Vitalii to follow in his footsteps.

Vitalii completed Veterinary School in 2013, and then embarked on adventures that took him throughout Europe, and finally to Canada in 2017 where he was excited to advance his career in this beautiful country.

Vitalii enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, and looks forward to meeting you and your pet at Seasons Veterinary Clinic!

Melissa is a Registered Veterinary Technologist who has wanted to work with animals her entire life. Melissa started at Seasons Veterinary Clinic in 2019 shortly after it opened, when she was in her first year of the RRC RVT program. She has promoted over the past 4 years to the Lead RVT at our practice, where she does an amazing job overseeing much of the medical side of the practice.

Melissa enjoys an active lifestyle, and hanging out with her cats Luna and Nugget. She is very excited to meet you and your pet!

Julia was born and raised in Manitoba and has always had a passion for animals and nature. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2015, and recently graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technologist from Red River College in 2021. Julia is enjoying all the many and varied aspects this exciting career brings. When not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, and spending time with her cat, Possum.

Danielle was born and raised in Manitoba and has always had a passion to help animals in anyway possible. In 2021 she graduated from the Veterinarian Office Assistant program, beginning her path in the veterinary profession.

She has a passion for hiking and being with her sister, niece and nephew, as well as her lovely pup: Gustifer Robin relaxing or practicing his tricks! Danielle also has a lovely cat named Fairy that she rescued from the streets.

Danielle is very excited to meet your pet and give them the best care they deserve!

Jordan was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has always loved all types of animals. Jordan has known forever she wanted to pursue a career where she would be able to help animals, and to this end, she is attending Red River College for the Registered Veterinary Technologist program. She loves to bake and spend time playing soccer, as well as playing with her 2 cats, Bob and Baila. Jordan is super excited to meet you and your beloved pet

Alyssa was born and raised in Winnipeg and has always had a love for animals and was raised around a variety of species of animals. Growing up Alyssa spent most of her spare time at a horse stable volunteering and riding as much as she could. When Alyssa is not busy at work helping you to care for your pets, you will find her at her cabin with family and friends. Alyssa can’t wait to meet you and your lovely pet!

Danielle was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has always had a deep love for animals. Before joining the team at Seasons, she worked as a certified music therapist and as a personal trainer. Danielle is excited to now blend her passion for animals with her skills in customer care. Outside of work she enjoys playing music, spending time with her husband, and hanging out with their cat, Nugget. Danielle can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Ashley was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has always loved being around animals (especially cats!) since she was young. Both Ashley and her sister Jordan love spending time with their two cats at home, Bob and Baila. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and spending her summers relaxing at her cabin. She is always happy to help clients and make both pets and their owners feel welcome. Ashley is looking forward to meeting you and your pet!

Bella was born in Calgary but raised in Winnipeg from a very young age, she grew up around animals her whole life and is happy to take care of both cats and dogs alike. Bella is a new addition to the Seasons team; before she joined, she went to Ontario for college for fine arts to explore different passions in life. She is very excited to see what the future holds for her at this clinic.

Quinten is a Military child, born on Vancouver Island, BC and has lived all over Canada until he eventually found his way to Winnipeg. He is a part of the Cadets Canada program as an army cadet and loves to stay active in any way he can.

Quinten grew up alongside his black lab Meeker and now has two pugs that, although a little funny looking, he loves with all his heart.
He has had the dream of being a veterinarian ever since he can remember, this dream was only solidified when he started volunteering at Seasons in the summer of 2021 and went on to join the team in 2022.

I grew up on a farm, where my love for animals started early. Inspired by my mom’s lifelong passion for animals, I decided to pursue college to learn more about them. I adore my grandma’s cat, Theo, and my family’s Great Dane, who is a giant love bug.
