Soft Tissue Surgery

veterinarian in surgery

We perform many types of soft tissue surgeries at our clinic. Soft tissue surgeries are those that are not associated with bone. These surgeries can provide many benefits to pets.

One common soft tissue surgery performed is the removal of various lumps and skin tumours. Removal is usually curative, and will also allow the offending lump to be sent to the laboratory for advanced testing.

Some other common soft tissue surgeries include wound repair, bladder stone removal, episioplasty (a little nip and tuck beneath the tail to help treat recurrent skin fold infections and urinary tract infections), entropion (folded in eyelid) repair, stenotic nares surgery (opening narrow nostrils), and abdominal surgeries.
